1) 55 Window Palace or Nge Nyapa Jhya Laaykoo or The Palace of Fifty-five Windows:
A historical palace with unique features in its design. 55 window palace also called the palace with fifty-five(55) windows possess the 55 windows in total with a wooden carving of hindu deities. Built during the Malla reign, this palace is one of the oldest monuments in Nepal which showcase wonderful Nepalese arts of carving and designing.
1) Nyatapola Temple
Also called the 5 storey roof temple dedicated to the supreme Goddess parvati tantric reincarnation, Siddhi Laxmi. Constructed by King Bhupatindra Malla around 1702 to 1703 within 17 months time interval.
As the temple is 5 storey, people walks up to the temple through stairs and stone statues of animals which protects the temple. The holy temple opened only once a year during Goddess greatest festival “Dashain” where devi’s devotee come to worship her.
2) Vatsala Temple
Dedicated to the Goddess Vatsala, built carving the large stone which is also famous for silver bell known to local as bell of barking dogs.
3) Statue of Bhupatindra Malla
The great Malla king Bhupatindra Malla’s statue situated facing the palace in the position of praying is one of the famous statues.
4) Golden Gate or Lun Dhwākhā
Is a beautiful gateway to the royal palace which is carved with Hindu Goddess Kali and Lord Vishnu mount Garuda which is fighting with evil force and serpents which symbolize “Good wins over evil”.
5) Lion’s Gate
Is truly a masterpiece in itself from its beauty to its unique style. Built by artisan during the reign of Bhadgaon King who unfortunately cut off the artisan hands so no one recreates this masterpiece.

Changu Narayan Temple
The oldest temple of Nepal lies at Changu or Dolagiri hilltop at village of Changu.
Built in the 4th century, this traditional Nepali style temple is a two storey with sculptures and artifacts related to Lord Vishnu. Thus, dedicating the temple to the Lord Vishnu.
Due to its masterpiece structural design, style, history, and architecture makes this temple unique and valuable hence even listed to UNESCO World Heritages.
Four entrance to the main temple which is guarded by animals idols like elephants, griffins, lions, and sarabhas. The main entrance to temple consists of chakra, sankha, and kamal hanging over the roof with ancient script writing on walls and stones which dates back to Lichhavi king Manadeva. The temple exhibits the ancient art, culture, tradition and history of this area.
