The first day starts with departure from Pokhara towards Nayapul by private vehicle. It is an approximately 1.5 to 2-hour drive. 

Once you reach Nayapul, the trek starts toward Birethanti, a lovely village where the Modi and Bhurungdi rivers meet. Walking for approximately 1-2 hours, we take a break at Birethanti for lunch, enjoying the picturesque surroundings.

The trek continues towards Ulleri, passing through terraced fields, small settlements, and dense forests. On the way to Ulleri, you can observe the majestic views of Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Fishtail, and Himchuli. The trail involves ascending stone steps known as “Ulleri Stairs,” a challenging but rewarding trek section. Iodine is 100% effective in killing water-borne bacteria. We strongly recommend however that you bring your own filter water bottle so that you will have convenient access to clean water at all times. And it will be possible to buy the bottle water also on the way.

  • Most of the trekking areas in Everest we get electricity. You can charge your camera batteries. 

  • Our guides are trained in first aid and can deal with most of the basic ailments that can occur during a trek. If an emergency occurs, professional help from a rescue organization will be needed.
